Please take a look at this 13-week Lifestyle & Nutrition Course, a disease prevention and reversal series that uses lifestyle medicine strategies to address the leading causes of illness in the U.S. This class will help give a better understanding of the connection between healthful nutrition and chronic disease prevention, along with practical basics to support a shift toward optimal health.

It is a Free Program

It is a free program, funded by grants and donations. It can be attended virtually via Zoom link (in-person locations in Oregon). It starts on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 5:30pm-7:30pm PST, for 13 consecutive Tuesdays. You do not have to attend every session, but it is beneficial to attend all of them. At registration select, “Virtually (live stream via Zoom; recordings not provided)“. If you are not familiar with the Zoom program, they offer an optional “Orientation to Zoom” session.

I have attended this course twice a couple of years ago and I have signed-up again.

It is hosted by Umpqua Community Veg Education Group (UC-VEG) a community-led nonprofit organization that supports individuals who want to live healthier lifestyles.
